Valving

In the world of shocks, valving refers to the system of internal passages and valves that control the flow of hydraulic fluid, dictating how fast or slow the shock compresses and rebounds.

If your wife dosent want to ride in the car because it bottoms out to fast or it bounces to much than yes you need valving changes to correct the ride. A Good Shock Tune = Happy Wife = More truck Parts. Simple Math.
Build Info: Stock Width C&T, Full Cage, Spring Under, RSS Tune , CO BP (2.5 Front), (2.5 Rear) 3 Tube bypass. 35 in tires and a 5.8l.
Build Info: Tube chassis Buggy, Linkpin/IRS, (2.0 CO Front) 4x1 arms, 2.5 (CO Rear), Ecotec , 118” wheelbase.
Test & Tune

Test & Tune involves a full day of testing and suspension tuning scheduled around a shake down run for a race car or prerunner.

Due to the speeds and conditions the vehicle will be pushed to, to find the maximum possible performance a few safety items are required.

We test local to Phoenix Arizona but we do travel to many SoCal based Locations to test and will generally test in a few areas based on your driving.
Color Changes

Typical Lead times for Color Changes are 1 month minimum. We outsource to only the best vendors and sometimes they get busy.

Color changes is a broad term for Cerakote, High Performance Coatings, DLC Coatings, Powder coating , and Anodizing. All these are used to change the appearance and corrosion properties of shocks. Restore color to your 30 year old shocks or make your springs match your new wheels we can do that.
Spring Changes

A spring change is when we respring your vehicle to properly hold the weight of the vehicle. This is the first thing you need to dial in your car. No amount of valving or Bypass tubes can fix bad springs.

Short answer no. We do not sell off the shelf spring kits for SXS or UTVS. There is to many variables to consider when putting springs on a car which is why we wont ever offer an off the shelf kit. Everything is custom for you based off of terrain, driving style, weight ,and some math.

Here at RSS we offer same day rebuild and install services for most vehicles and shock packages for about 1/2 the price of most shops. Currently Appointment only.

We are so confident in our prep skills that in 2019 we built a Race Legal X3 for NORRA in 24 Hours and got 2nd In our class. We don’t send cars back unless they are perfect.

I’m the only one you’ll work with the entire time. I hate when you go to shops because the owner is a legend and then you find out the shop kids who makes minimum wage is working on your vehicle, but your getting charged owner prices. I care about your vehicles and your safety and this way my name is litteraly on my work. You cant expect others to hold themselves to as high as a standard as you hold yourself to so that’s why I work alone.
